IMPORTANT
Registering creates your account. It does not assign you to your Affiliation (USYS or USSSA). Once the Registrar assigns that, you will see your clearance requirements.


FYSA
BYSL U9 TO U19
FYSA Background Check, Concussion Course, SafeSport Course, Parks & Rec Fingerprinting
The FYSA checks are done through your Coach GotSport account yearly from the Dashboard. These are good for the soccer season (July-August), not the calendar year.
For each requirement labeled Required, click the Details link to the far right and follow the instructions.

Parks & Rec Fingerprinting (see below)
SafeSport
SafeSport is accessed through your GotSport portal. Look for the USSSA requirements> SafeSport. The name and email for GotSport and SafeSport must match. GotSport Help

Parks & Rec Fingerprinting
Brevard Parks & Rec Dept requires a fingerprinted background check for all coaches and for volunteers serving over 20 hours. Fingerprinting is good for 5 years.
SCUSC has contracted with A1A Fingerprints to conduct the fingerprint background checks. This check is at no cost to you. You may schedule an appointment on-line at https://www.a1afingerprints.com/brevard-county. Please do this as soon as possible. You will need to indicate in the appointment notes the check is being performed for Space Coast United Soccer club and that you are a volunteer.
