Seeking Board of Director Candidates
Space Coast United Soccer Club is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the members of the Club. The Club is currently seeking candidates for open board positions with a term of office that ends June 2025.
Board members are elected to a three-year term. They are expected to attend monthly meetings, represent the Club at assorted events throughout the year, and actively engage in the committee work necessary to promote the mission of the Club. The Club’s Bylaws further describe the role and duties of a board member.

Soccer experience is not a requirement! Good directors are individuals who care about the well-being of our players and promote the development of our staff. They are dedicated to the Club’s mission to provide high-quality soccer instruction to children in our community in a safe and fun environment.
Applications for a Board of Directors position are due by May 25. To apply, send an email to the Executive Committee (executive@spacecoastsoccer.org) that includes a:
- brief bio
- statement explaining why you would like to serve the members of the club
- headshot photo
If the number of candidates exceeds the number of vacancies, we will publish the slate of candidates by May 28 and communicate the details regarding voting procedures with voting closing June 13.
If the number of candidates is equal to or less than the number of vacancies, the board will verify eligibility per our bylaws and announce the names of the board members to be installed at the June meeting.
