GK Director Mike Potier Departing
SCUSC will be losing Mike Potier as our Goalkeeping Director and coach of the U15 Boys ECNLRL team. Mike has been with Space Coast for over 10 years and has been in Brevard County over the last 20+ years.
Mike has dedicated himself to developing goalkeepers to better themselves and play at the highest level he can push them. He has had a tremendous amount of success and his work has gone beyond just being a coach but a mentor and someone the players always come back and visit.
Mike has decided to pursue a new career in the fitness industry in Brevard County. We all wish Mike Good Luck and the best moving forward with this new business venture!
SCUSC’s new Goalkeeping Director will be Cal Dixon. For those of you that know Cal, you will know him as a coach primarily with the Girls program and Viera High School Girls team.
Cal’s goalkeeping career started at Stoke City in England as an apprentice, where he earned a professional contract. After playing at Stoke City, Cal’s career moved in a new direction. He came to the United States to attend Lees McRae College, where he captained and played for 4 years while studying business.
