SCUSC STORM WATCH NEWSLETTER

SCUSC STORM WATCH

Hello Space Coast United Family! We are dusting off our old  Storm Watch newsletter to give you an update on happenings at SCUSC. We have been hearing from parents and players and are proud of your continued interest and dedication to keeping connected. We can’t wait to get back on the fields!

BOYS ECNL AND GIRLS ECNLRL

We are thrilled to announce that SCUSC is now an ECNL Club! Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) has announced our inclusion in the Boys ECNL Southeast Conference and the Girls ECNL Regional League – Florida. SCUSC players now have the opportunity to play the top teams in the state and country. See our Press Release for ECNL Boys and ECNLRL Girls.

TRYOUTS

Space Coast United will be opening up our new Virtual Tryout registration on Monday. We are asking all families to show their intent to return to Space Coast United so that we can plan for the upcoming season. Please check out our Tryouts page for all the details. New players can register as well, so be sure to invite your friends!

With ECNL, playing up will be very limited. All players who request to play up will first be considered for their true age bracket and then identified through ID Camps for one age higher.

RETURN TO PLAY

SCUSC is in constant contact with US Club, FYSA, Brevard Parks & Rec, and leagues and other clubs. An FYSA proposed lifting of suspension is now 14 days from the start of the Governor’s Florida Phase 3. Training and games may look a bit different when we do return and health and safety will be at the forefront of any new procedures.

CONTINUING SPRING SEASON

Space Coast United staff are currently in the process of creating a Summer Series for all competitive teams to make up for the lost practices and games. The directors are working on criteria in the form of camps and training. This is contingent upon the allowed return date and the requirements for a return to play criteria. We look forward to seeing you all on the fields soon.

STATE COMPETITIONS

All State championship competitions and league play have been canceled for the 2019-2020 soccer season. These competitions include State Cup, Presidents Cup, Commissioners Cup, and Florida Cup.

Teams will receive a refund of their application fee minus incurred expenses. This will be dispersed by the team managers when SCUSC receives money back from FYSA and US Club. The FYSA refund policy is here.
