Update on COVID-19 Closure

Space Coast United Youth Families,

Since our last communication last week regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus), there have been fast-moving developments related to the virus and a growing public health concern. We have set up an SCUSC task force made up of staff, community leaders, Brevard County Schools advisor and health professionals assigned to monitor and evaluate these developments.

As we continue to evaluate the daily changes, Space Coast United will be updating all social media and website to keep you informed.

Our intent is to restart training and all activity beginning March 30 and extend the season through May/June to reschedule games, extend time for supplemental training, and ensure that teams can play their full season. As of now, all tryout dates and other club events scheduled after March 30 are still in place. There will be modifications made on the calendar to accommodate the suspension period and to extend the season. More information will be shared from program directors as we continue to monitor developments in our community.

We hope that through a collective effort across our sport, community, state, country, and the world, we can help limit the spread of this virus. We understand this is a tough time for all, but the health, safety, and well-being of our families and our entire community is our greatest concern.

Please keep an eye out for more information from Scott Armstrong (Executive Director) and program directors, and visit our website spacecoastsoccer.org to stay up to date on the latest information. We will communicate frequently with updates.
