Coach Chan
Robin Chan ::  :: Email

Coach Chan is the head coach of men's soccer at Florida Tech. Previously coached the Melbourne Central Catholic High School varsity men's team for eight years leading it to two State Championships in 1998 and 2003, eight consecutive district championships, five regional championships, and five state final four appearances. At the end of the 2003 season, MCC was ranked #1 in the country by StudentSports.com.

He has received many coaching awards including: 1998 FACA 3A Coach of the Year, 1998 Big Brother Big Sister Brevard County Coach of the Year, 2003 FACA 1A Coach of the Year and the 2003 Florida Coach of the Year.

While playing at Florida Tech, Coach Chan helped his team win the National Championship in 1988 being named the 1988 NCAA II National Championship Match MVP Offensive Player along with numerous other awards including 1st Team All American in 1990, 1st Team All State in 1989 and 1990, 1st Team All South in 1990, 1st Team All SSC in 1988, 1989 and 1990, and Honorable Mention All SSC in 1987. He still remains the only Florida Tech soccer player to start every game of his college career. Coach Chan is a member of the Florida Tech Sports Hall of Fame.

Professionally, he played for the 1997 national finalists Carolina Dynamo.
