The objective is to create an environment to foster continued growth and passion in the game.
We will continue to stress individual technical player development but will further emphasize larger group and team tactics. Players will be moved between different roles on the field, including goalkeeper in an effort to further stimulate their own development as well as their appreciation of the different functions of all positions within the game.
The commitment to this team is one “soccer-calendar” year, which spans from June 5, 2010 - July 31, 2010. The fall season training will commence in mid July and run through November up until Thanksgiving. We will plan to play in 1 local tournament during the fall season TBD. December and the first part of January will be used for recovery and should not include any organized soccer activity. This is necessary time-off!
We will resume training in mid-January and prepare for BYSL League play. We will compete throughout BYSL spring season and plan to play in 1 local tournament TBD.
