More than 7 years of coaching experience in various age groups.
Returning U11 Competitive Team Coach.
We will be starting with the basics. This includes dribbling and controlling the ball, short passes in a small space, possession, kicking correctly for the situation (i.e. sides of foot for passes and insteps for driving shots).
Also training will be heavy on conditioning since that is very important.
We will work heavily on trapping, defending correctly for the situation and movement on field away from ball.
We will work on team play and not individual holding and dribbling of ball. Our practices will have progression with the training going from 1 on 1, to group, and then game situation.

Players should be no older than 11 years as of
August 1, 2008.
Looking for players who are committed to soccer all year round, who understand
teamwork, and who are passionate about the sport. We will practice two
or three nights a week and good attendance is mandatory.
Our team will participate in BYSL/GCF and primarily local tournaments. There
is very little travel involved. We plan to enter Region B Cup in the spring.
