Our objective is to teach the players the love for the world's most popular sport.
We will approach this goal through activities and games that require decision-making and constant player involvement, emphasizing creativity, and maximum ball touches and skills development. Our focus is on improving the self-esteem of every player who participates on this team and allowing them to try various positions on the field, including goal keeper. We accomplish this in an extremely focused but, fun soccer environment where these players will learn to develop proper soccer skills, an awareness of soccer tactics, and athletic competitiveness.
We will continue to explore the intricacies of the game in using field space and developing tactics that best suit our squad's strengths. Our players will learn that improvement is the reward of focus and practice and that competiveness and team pride will basically guide the end result of the matches they participate during this coming year.
Looking for players who are committed to soccer all year round, who understand
teamwork, and who are passionate about the sport. We will practice three nights a week and good attendance is mandatory.
Our team will participate in GCF and primarily local tournaments. We plan to enter State/Region B Cup in the spring. To offset tournament costs, this team will REQUIRE you to find at least one sponsor of $100.00 or more, and we will also plan several fund raisers. We anticipate needing no more than $25.00 before each tournament during the year, and there is financial assistance available for any player that is dedicated to all practices and events but has financial difficulty meeting tournament fees.
